Who am I? I often ask myself this. In a constantly changing world, I find myself trying to change with it. As a college student, the topic of my identity is one that I hear almost 24/7. The age old question of "What do you want to do with your life?" Well, this is what I've figured out so far, I want to:
Graduate college with a bachelor's degree in Middle Childhood Education
Get a job as an middle school teacher
Finish my enlistment with the military
Travel the world
Get married and have kids
God has plans for my life that are so much greater then I could EVER imagine, but I have always struggled with giving God control of my life. It is something I am working on. One of my favorite verses is Jeremiah 29:11 because it gives us hope in God's plan by saying, "For I know the plans I have for you 'declares the Lord', plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."
So I am just as screwed up inside as the next person, but by God's grace and mercy I am forgiven. He has a purpose to my life, I just have to listen. Some other fun facts about me: I love music, my favorite color is mint, and I spend an abnormal amount of time on Pinterest.
